The Assistant Marina Manager, in the absence of the Marina Manager or when assigned, assumes the responsibilities of
the Marina Manager in accordance with Grand Teton Lodge Company and National Park Service policies and procedures,
including assisting with supervision and training of all Marina personnel. The Assistant Manager is responsible to
supervise daily operations of rental boats, canoes, fuel dock operation, utility boat, fishing boats, and any needed
rescues, and is additionally responsible to maintain buoys, docks and anchor system, replacing/repairing as necessary.
The “must haves” for this position include:
2 years of previous supervisory experience
Professional knowledge of marinas, general boating and passenger boat operations.
Basic administrative skills
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have current First Aid and CPR/AED certification that is less than a year old.
Must have passed a DOT 5 drug test prior to commencing work
Must participate in a monthly random drug testing program as specified by the USCG
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to speak with large groups of people.
Ability to work well under pressure
Diesel motor maintenance experience preferred
Able to work long hours and variable shifts
