Position: Admissions Coordinator
Salary: $44,000-50,000 per year
Type: Full Time
As an Admissions Coordinator, youll be an integral member of our professional team that is dedicated finding nurturing
families and developing permanency for children rescued from abuse or neglect. Youll be combining your organizational
skills and professional demeanor with your passion for helping kids as you support foster families in providing therapeutic
services in a safe, nurturing environment.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following

Receives calls and documents from referral sources related to program description and referral process.
Oversees admissions protocols including the receipt, screening, and processing of all potential referrals to the Treatment
Foster Care Programs.
Gathers pertinent information from referral source to determine client’s placement needs, and consults with other
program directors and supervisors regarding the appropriateness of admission.
Ensures all essential documents and clinical information is obtained prior to admission decision.
Coordinates with referral agency and internal department accepted referrals for admission to Treatment Foster Care
Program, schedules admissions/pre-admission visits.
Maintains statistics to include but not limited to the number of referrals, who referred, disposition of case, if not placed in
the Treatment Foster Care Program, notes why not, number of placements.
Supervises the maintenance of the Client Database to ensure most current and accurate information on referred,
admitted and discharged clients.
Reviews client files periodically to assure that documentation is complete.
Maintain a manageable caseload to insure outcomes and practice requirements are met while taking into consideration
the level of care of clients served.
Education, Licensure and/or Experience
Bachelors of Social Work or higher, LBSW or higher, and at least two (2) years relevant experience in Treatment Foster
Valid driver’s license
Proof of current Auto Registration, Inspection and Insurance
Driving Record (three years) from the state in which the driver’s license is valid
Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test.
Must submit to and pass random drug tests during employment.
Must successfully pass all background screens as required by the state.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
