Position: Receiving Clerk Salary: $13.00 per hour Type: Full Time Location: Louisville, KY
6:30am- 3pm Monday-Friday $13/hr
SUMMARY:Responsible for all activities related to inventory accuracy, receiving, and purchasing.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT STANDARDS
Maintaining an accurate inventory at all times
Timely and accurate communication between Plant, Office and Corporate
Timely ordering of materials through the Boca Purchasing department
Accurate receiving of inbound materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Investigate and enter adjustments as needed with Inventory Manager’s approval using the correct reason codes for
negative report results, requested samples, substitution requests, reclassifications, disposal requests, waste reports and
vendor discrepancies
Create and ship intercompany transfers per the transfer schedule.
Purchase plant specific components as designated. Boxes, tape, thread, etc.
Complete requests for samples, substitutions, reclassifications and disposals.
Communicate with corporate purchasing on receiving and inventory issues
Receive all inbound production into Oracle and resolve any discrepancies that arise.
Create and print reports from Oracle as required.
Must be willing to train on computer system/ hand scanner and be capable of completing the following functions in
Oracle:
Pack and unpack LPNs
Sub-inventory Transfers
Inbound Receipts
Production Scanning
LPN Split
Reprint LPNs
ICT creation and completion.
Schedules delivery appointments and updates inbound log.
Use websites to schedule loads and retrieve packing list information.
Update vendor violation log on a weekly basis.
Assists in putting away materials away at times of high volume of inbound material.
Monitors receiving location for discrepancies and/or issues.
Assists with Quarterly and Annual Inventories.
Fills in for direct labor associates as needed for vacations, absences, etc.
Any additional duties as required by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No direct reports
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Have excellent writing and oral communications skills in English.
Excellent attendance and performance record.
Above average organizational skills and ability to perform basic math functions. Add, subtract, multiply, divide.
Must have computer skills. Email, Excel, Word.
Ability to operate a forklift/reach truck.
Previous Receiving/Purchasing experience preferred but not required.
Have good attention to detail
