The purpose of the position is to supervise, plan and direct banquet operations including service and set-up of events.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with guests and team members.
Oversee operations for preparations, execution and cleanupof events.
Coordinate with chef, sales team, maintenance and main event contact to ensure smooth operations.
Delegate duties to team members for each event.
Accurately report highlights of events post shift
Maintain reports for accurate billing of services.
Coach and guide servers in presentation and policies.
Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
