This position is responsible for answering phones, taking messages and providing
accurate information according to established policies. Also purchases supplies for the hospice department.
The Administrative Assistant requires a high school graduate or
equivalent, some college is preferred but not required. Advanced
knowledge in secretarial skills are necessary, and 2-3 years work
experience is required. Clerical abilities, the ability to perform the
following efficiently: typing, filing, compiling data, the ability to
prioritize, and the ability to handle multiple projects and complete
assignments timely. Ability to work harmoniously with professional and
non-professional personnel. Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and
communication skills. Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
