The Volunteer Services Coordinator will have overall compliance, strategic and operational responsibility for the
implementation of volunteer services within CHI St. Joseph’s Health. These duties include, but are not limited to:
collaboration with internal departments and external partners, community awareness, recruitment, interviewing, training,
scheduling, inservicing and supervision of CHI St. Joseph’s Health volunteers. The Volunteer Services Coordinator will also
direct the fundraising activities of both CHI St. Joseph’s Health Hospice Care and CHI St. Joseph’s Health Auxiliary.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline OR 3 years’ experience in the discipline OR Master’s
Degree and no experience required.

Excellent oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with a variety of customers including: colleagues, donors,
physicians/providers, Boards, volunteers, staff, community and organizational leaders.
High degree of flexibility and adaptability.
Developed organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently, solicit prospects and manage volunteers.
Planning and visioning abilities.
Advanced computer skills to utilize various information technology tools (Microsoft Office, Volgistics, CHI applications).
