Position # 1
This is a direct-client opening for a AWS Engineering Manager located in Mclean, VA or New York City, NY. This is a Full-Time
Position and the client is looking to fill this position ASAP.
This position is for a dynamic and strategic leader who can join teams that are already performing, and start making a
difference from day one. In this role as a Senior Manager, you will provide technology leadership, guiding architectural and
design decisions. You must be able to provide career coaching and support for team members to develop their technical,
business and interpersonal professional skills. You’ll be able to identify and remove impediments, while successfully driving
towards key initiatives. Building and maintaining strong relationships, earning and maintaining confidence with both
customers and business leaders are critically important responsibilities. A clear and crisp communication style will
establish realistic expectations for all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
As an AWS Engineering Manager, you will provide technical guidance and leadership to the Agile teams while being hands
on in Site Reliability Engineering work as needed. Removing technical impediments, designing the platform/application
implementations with cutting edge technologies and leading a successful team are core parts of responsibilities. This
position requires working in fast paced environment which needs realigning priorities and changing strategies for
successful implementation of business requirements.
Position Provides Exposure to:
DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Service (S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, etc), Chef,
Docker, Ansible
Automation Testing: Selenium, Cucumber, ATDD, Protractor, Karma, Automated Performance and Regression/Functional
Testing
CI/CD: Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory
Build/SCM Tools: Maven, Gradle, Grunt, Gulp, Git, NPM
DB/Data Platforms: Kafka, Storm, MongoDB, Hadoop, Spring XD/Spring Batch
Working knowledge of modern application monitoring tools (New Relic, Splunk, Elk, etc.)
Position # 2
This is a direct-client opening for a BI Manager (People Analytics) located in New York, NY. This is a Full-Time position and
the client is looking to fill this position ASAP.
Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) manager to join its Human Capital Analytics and Reporting team (HCAR).
Members of HCAR are curators of employee data and leverage it to help answer strategic and operational talent questions
for leaders across the business.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Ideal applicants will have a bachelor’s degree or higher and five to seven years of relevant work experience developing
automated analytical reporting products in a business setting.
The ability to manage a software development team in the architecture of a central data warehouse that will facilitate
efficient reporting automation is also vital.
Knowledge of business intelligence programs (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Pentaho, Shiny), leading practices in data visualization,
and scripting languages for data retrieval and transformation (e.g., SQL, Python) is critical.
Individuals who possess a dedicated customer service mentality, excellent interpersonal communication skills, an ability to
see how small details impact the bigger picture, and a knack for rapid problem solving are highly sought after.
Willingness to readily dive into details, collaborate effectively with teammates, and drive projects to completion is
imperative. The ability to exercise extreme discretion with confidential information is also essential.
People analytics experience is preferred but not required.
Position # 3
This is a direct-client opening for a HR Product Manager located in New York, NY. This is a Full-Time position and the client is
looking to fill this position ASAP.
Our client is seeking an HR Product Manager to join its Human Capital Systems and Infrastructure team to assist with the
development and implementation of a redesigned systems infrastructure. This team acts as caretaker of the systems that
optimize human capital processes and house employee data.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher who have five to ten years of relevant work experience.
Preference will be given to those who have been actively involved in product management for complex software
implementations within an agile environment.
Experience designing and implementing data warehouses is a significant plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, organizational skills, a dedicated client service mentality, a knack for
rapid problem solving, an aptitude for translating the needs of non-technical systems users into technical requirements,
and an ability to see how small details interrelate and impact the bigger picture (i.e. systems thinking) are all critical for
this role.
Applicants with expertise in technical writing, process mapping, process re-engineering, and data modeling will excel in this
role.
Position # 4
This is with our direct client opening for Data Scientist located in New York City, NY. This is a Full-Time Position and the
salary is in the $140-150K, DOE, with a 30% target bonus.
Ph.D. in a scientific discipline (e.g., Applied Statistics/Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics).
3+ years industry experience post PHD
Scientific expertise and applied experience in Machine Learning.
Foundational knowledge of Natural Language Processing.
Knowledge of advanced statistical theories, methodologies, and inference tools (e.g., Bayesian inference, hierarchical
models, deep learning, Gaussian processes, and causal inference).
Advanced programming skills in Python and/or R (and their related data processing, Machine Learning, and visualization
libraries).
Practical experience in preparing data for Machine Learning. Qualifications
