We’re looking for a smart, savvy, and hacker-like marketing person to join our team to help create, engineer, and execute
on the marketing strategy we have for Salesmsg.

1. We Figure It Out.
If you’re not inquisitive, curious, and goal oriented - this isn’t for you. There’s things that will happen that will require you
to dig a bit deeper to “figure it out." We don’t expect the customer to figure it out for us, we dive in and make it happen.
2. Insatiable Learning.
There’s a wealth of knowledge in books, articles, videos, courses, training events, and everywhere you look. Google
anything and you’ll find the answer. If you can’t “figure it out” yourself, trust me, someone else already has for you and
there’s most likely a blog post or book written about it.
You are resourceful to your core.

Seeing things for “how they truly are” gives us power. In fact, we have to be real in order to survive and thrive. When you

Okay, with that out of the way, let’s get into what this role will look like for you…
// THE ROLE //
Here’s the truth…
Our marketing is ad-hoc and off the cuff. We know what we need to do, however, there’s no set system and process in
place to truly execute on consistent marketing campaigns.
At a high level, your role will be to engineer winning marketing campaigns using all types of digital marketing.
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing…
Monitoring and owning all of our conversion funnels (awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, revenue and referral)
Managing the marketing team & ensuring all key results and outcomes are met
Creating the strategy for our marketing plan, which includes building our promotional offers, building and managing our
marketing calendar to coincide with key product launches
Strategizing, creating and managing promotion & marketing calendar
Furthering development of the marketing and communication plan for the brand
Liaising with external agencies for performance marketing, PR, etc
Managing Salesmsg’s online presence, especially on various social media channels
Research and lead cross-functional marketing experiments towards measurable outcomes
Doing things you have no idea how to do (yet), executing and being scrappy when needed
You gotta bring the skills to pay the bills. Here’s a taste of some of the things we require for you to be successful in this
At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing roles. You’ve done this before and pumped to get started.
Incredible writing skills. You have a knack for crafting interesting copy.
A strategic mindset that allows you to understand industry trends and customer needs.
Relentless creativity and ambition.
Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and superior time management skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and self-manage your workload.
Excellent communication skills with high energy and a great attitude.
A great track record of creating, managing, and executing marketing campaigns.
Experience working closely with other functions like Marketing, Customer Support/Success, Sales, and Product.
Excellent communication skills, a great listener.
Tech savvy and have experience implementing software on an account per account basis.
First, you’ll start out as a contractor for a 90 day "is this a fit" period. If it’s not a fit (for you or the company), we’ll let you
know fast so we don’t waste your time to keep you from finding the perfect position somewhere else.
If and when we think that it’s a “fit” you’ll become a salaried employee with good ol’ benefits.
