Function: Manufacturing Engineering
Title: Metallurgist - 49905
As a Metallurgist, you will conduct failure analysis and provide material/process/design recommendations to improve life of
the components within a drivetrain assembly. You will also help with the development and control of heat treat processes.
This includes all aspects of our batch carburizing heat treat process including but not limited to quench oils, development
of cycles, carbon generation, tempering and lab analysis.

What Skills You Need
Basic metallurgy of drivetrain parts and the process required to make these parts
Failure analysis experience
Understanding of batch carburizing furnace and induction heat treat
What Makes You Stand Out
Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:
Demonstrated experience of failure analysis of parts and processes or process controls used to develop materials suitable
for use in OEM off road equipment
Demonstrated knowledge in batch carburizing furnace and controls, and induction heat treat
Demonstrated knowledge of plating, welding or grinding of metal drivetrain parts
Understanding of SQL, six sigma and quality systems
Education (or equivalent work experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Material Engineering
Advanced degree in Materials engineering
