Primary Responsibilities:
Direct and disseminate information on behalf of the President.
Spearhead, write, and publish newsletter content, blogs, and memos by the President.
Accept responsibility of internal and external communications educating clients and colleagues on new innovations,
developments and company news.
Coordinate with existing media contacts and cultivate new contacts to garner high-level placements in print,
broadcast, and online media.
Build editorial calendars and produce press releases.
Maintain and develop relationships with editors, bloggers, and online influencers.
Collaborate on effective corporate communication strategies.
Implement communication and brand management strategies.
Position the company as a thought leader in the markets we serve.
Content development that drives traffic to our website.
Effectively promote national and regional events.
Manage our social media, including the creation of written content and the creation or supervision of accompanying
Analyze and present the effectiveness of driving awareness to our social media platforms on a regular basis.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, and Training:
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communication, Liberal Arts or equivalent related experience.
Master’s Degree is a plus.
5 years of prior experience related to communications, public relations, or media relations. Have a combination? That
is a real plus!
Excellent oral and written communication skills is required.
Detail oriented and well organized.
Script-writing, production supervision, management of post-production editing management is a huge plus.
Experience (or interest) in video marketing and production.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Ability to stay up-to-date on social media and online trends and technology.
Positive, can-do attitude with a strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated with a high level of self-discipline.
Previous work experience in a corporate or public relations agency is a plus.
Results oriented.
Passion for helping others.
