Position: Logistics Coordinator
Salary: $40,000-50,000 per year
Type: Full Time
Principal Function: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for NOW Courier’s overall service level, including
maintaining customer relations and ensuring on time delivery for customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:
Acts as NOW Courier’s main point of contact for customer.
Resolves customer complaints and concerns.
Ensures accurate delivery of same day and pre-planned.
Ensures independent contractor drivers are in compliance with customer requirements.
Arranges deliveries to be scheduled for correct vehicle type per weight and volume while considering optimization
and cost control.
Monitors independent contractor driver fleet levels to ensure proper coverage.
Coordinates dispatch of customer orders to NOW Courier fleet contracted drivers.
Keeps account of order progress and completion.
Maintains and monitors order activity, including accurate and complete entry.
Coordinates with Dispatch on pre-scheduled next day/after-hours orders to ensure proper coverage.
Examines fleet availability proactively to uphold on-time and accurate completion ratio.
Advises management of fleet deficiencies.
Assists warehouse staff, as needed.
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; and
two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous
experience working in the logistics and distribution industry is desired.

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. However,
job duties will require occasional work in a warehouse environment with moderate safety/health hazard potential. The
