Position: Fabricator Salary: $14.50 per hour Type: Full Time Location: Hazelwood, MO
Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope®, a CRH company, is the leading supplier of products specified to close the building

doors, skylights and architectural glass.
Job Summary
The door fabricators are responsible for fabrication aluminum work per specification documents provided, packing duties,
saw operations in the creation of architectural doors, windows, frames, and similar products, as well as other utility
duties which may be assigned within a manufacturing plant. Must be able to work overtime on a regular basis including
Saturday. Must also be able to handle to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the
region (Heat, humidity, etc.). Must be able to tolerate seasonal weather changes.
STARTING WAGE $14.50 / HOUR
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting with sub assembly and fabrication
Cleaning and organizing of the warehouse
Punching door rails and stiles
Punching frame jambs and headers
Prepping parts and installing door hardware
Assembling doors
Welding Doors
Packing doors and frames in preparation for shipment
Pulling material required for fabrication
Lifting doors that weight from 25-100 lbs.
Operating equipment for a full shift (saw, mill, etc.). This will include lifting, loading, and unloading metal, pushing or
pulling carts, and lifting from low carts
Packing doors and frames
Stocking hardware room
Pulling Metal
May be required to handle steel bar or channel
Assisting with monthly inventory counts
Other Essential Duties and Responsibilities
At the end of the shift, check the aisles for debris and 5S the area
Safety is a requirement of employment. Must have attended the safety program(s) offered
Must be punctual
Show courtesy to those around you
Must know the process, if absent, to personally call the supervisor
Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and
procedures are essential functions of your job
Requirements
To be considered for this position, the following conditions must be met:
Experienced in metal or door fabrication and assembly
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Strong organizational skills
Ability to handle several tasks at once and prioritize
Ability to safely operate machinery necessary for the movement of material through the warehouse
Ability to work independently and prioritize work and deliveries
Good verbal and written communications skills and math aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively read and use a tape measure
All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
Welding knowledge and skill is a plus
Willing to be trained to work in other areas, if needed
Willing to work cooperatively with others
Physical Requirements
Ability to squat, bend, twist and turn multiple times through the day, everyday
Ability to load, unload, push and pull metal extrusions on a daily basis
Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. regularly by carrying, pushing, and pulling
Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
